The evaluation includes a written summary of the strengths of the writing, the areas for growth, change, and improvement, and a determination of what kind of editing meets your needs. Copyediting
Copyediting focuses on sentence structure, word choice, repetition, and clarity. It is where grammar issues are spotted and cleaned up. After a copyedit, the manuscript will be compelling and professional. Affordable packages tailored to your needs, beginning at $.02/word.

Developemental Editing
“Big picture” editing focused on content, structure, and logic. Strengths and weaknesses will be highlighted and guidance provided to develop a strong piece of writing. Packages beginning at a flat rate of $250.

Indexing
A thorough index will be compiled according to publisher specifications. We specialize in academic indexing in the humanities and social sciences and in health/wellness and cookbook indexing. Packages available per hour or at a flat rate, depending on project, starting at $50/hour or $5 to $7/page (determined after manuscript evaluation and based on publisher specifications).

Thesis/Dissertation Students
Thesis and dissertation students may need multiple levels of editing support yet have only a small budget. We work with students in the developmental phase and then with copyediting and proofreading.
